Today has been a long day. I’ve been out with my in-laws this afternoon grocery shopping in four different stores. I’ll be making dinner tomorrow for six people which is exciting!
I did not blog about it but my I celebrated my 34th birthday lazily with Bebe one Saturday ago. I got pampered… a lot! It was my most relaxing birthday ever. It was that one great day in my life when I went overboard lazy without feeling bad at all. All thanks to Bebe for making me super special!
Moving on… So tomorrow is my late birthday dinner celebration at my mom-in-law’s place. I won’t be baking myself a cake this time. I’ve given it a thought. I will be making a Filipino favorite dessert instead, the leche flan. I will serve it with fresh strawberries and whipped cream!
It’s pork schnitzel served with mushroom sauce and/or gravy, hasselback potatoes and/or rice for the main course. I will also cook chicken adobo to add some variety.
Time check: It’s almost 4 o’clock in the morning and I have to hit the sack. Oh dear insomnia, please please please leave me alone!

Man oh man. I really have to start taking guitar lessons. I have already found a second hand guitar on eBay. I haven’t placed my bid yet. Waiting for the perfect time here! I might as well grab a set of Savarez guitar strings and a guitar lesson book for beginners. What do you think?
