That afternoon when our old refrigerator’s freezer decided to retire without prior warning was a total mess. Frozen meats went down the drain and so was our hard earned money. I was disheartened and very upset. But then again, life goes on. We informed our landlord about the dilemma and two days later, our old refrigerator was replaced with a better, fresher one. That was quick and was such a relief.
The guy who had delivered the new fridge fixed everything. He took away the old one, brought in the new awesome refrigerator by Electrolux [brand new in its box] and had it set up. For some reason, the fridge was not leveled. He adjusted the steel levelers or leveling screws a few times until it was firmly positioned on the floor. Before leaving, he handed me the instructional manual and told me some important details about the fridge.
My new baby by Electrolux:
The top shelf, the refrigerator:
The lower compartment, the freezer:
Empty but was filled the following day.
Almost full!
Located on the left side of the fridge:
- favorite restaurant/takeaway menus
- recipes on post-it sheets
How about you? Has your freezer [or refrigerator] died? Did it come as a surprise or were you aware that it was soon time to have it replaced?
