Chatting with my family online last night has made me realize how much I am missing home. My mom and brothers have just transferred to their new home a week ago and there’s this part of me that wants to be there to help them organize everything and well… to be with them. Although the internet bridges the gap, it’s only a temporary relief to keep you going. There have been so many days when I wish that I could simply purchase a plane ticket anytime I want to so I could fly to the Philippines on a Friday then fly back to Sweden before Monday comes.
The last time I was in the Philippines was in March of 2010. As always, it was my Bebe who purchased a round trip ticket for me online and paid a few extra hundred Swedish crowns for my travel insurance.
There’s nothing painful about paying a bit more for single, family, group and/or frequent flyer travel insurance packages. You get to worry less because you know that your travel overseas has gotten covered. If there’ll be unexpected medical expenses, trip disruption, travel delays, evacuations and other unfortunate events while you’re out exploring the world, your travel insurance company is only a phone call away. You can breathe a bit better!
With my travel insurance policy, I was able to spend my lovely four weeks in the Philippines with my sis-in-law, her friend, my family and friends. We travelled from one city to another and enjoyed every minute we had together.

I am so looking forward to my possible 2013 trip to the Philippines with Bebe. Hope the plan will push through! Fingers crossed!
